Qualifications: Degree in Arts, Science, Commerce, Agriculture, Medicine, Veterinary Science or Engineering.
Age: Male: 35 yrs. Female: 38 yrs. Relaxable for certain other categories.
Physical: for Bihar Police Service:
Male: Height 165 cm, Chest 80 cms. (unexpanded)
Female: Height 155 cm.
Subjects for Examination
Preliminary: To select eligible candidates for Main Examination. One Paper: General Studies (150 marks). Objective type.
Main:
Compulsory:
· General Hindi (100 marks)
· General Studies - two papers (200 marks each). Marks in General Hindi are not counted for determining rank. But one should secure 30 % for becoming eligible to appear in exam.
Optional: Any two but not more than one from Languages and Literature:
