This examination is for recruitment of Senior Observers in the Indian Meteorological Department. Posts are located in the Regional Meteorological centers at Madras, Bombay, Calcutta, Nagpur and Delhi.

Qualifications: BSc. with Physics as one of the subject. 

Age: 20-25 years.

Paper I: (Objective type) 100 Marks Time l.5 hrs.

· English Language
· General Knowledge including Geography.

Paper II: (Objective type) 200 marks Time 2.5 hrs.

· Physics
· Mathematics.
