SYLLABUS:

Both the tests will cover Objective and Descriptive questions from the following areas of study:

1. Trigonometry
2. Modern Algebra and Matrix Theory (c) Theory of Equation
3. Analytical Geometry
4. Real Analysis
5. Differential Equations
6. Statistics and Probability
7. Elementary Numerical Analysis Logical Ability.

Admission procedure: 

Notification for admission to MCA Course is normally given during the end of the proceeding year of admission in leading newspapers.

Application for admission can be obtained either personally or through mail against a Bank Draft of requisite amount (nonrefundable) drawn in favour of The Registrar, Delhi University, payable at State Bank of India, University of Delhi. 

In case of a request through mail, a candidate is required to send the Bank Draft together with a self addressed stamped (Rs. 3/-) envelope (10" x 7"). The Department will not be responsible for non-delivery or delayed delivery of the forms sent by mail. 

The Admission Form duly filled in all respects is to be submitted in the Department within the stipulated period.

All eligible applicants are called for the Admission Test conducted at the University of Delhi. On the basis of their performance at the Admission Test, a number of 150 candidates are called for personal interview. 

Merit list is drawn on the basis of performance in the Admission Test (8~%) and personal interview (20%). In all cases, the decision of the Department is final and binding on all candidates.

Eligibility Conditions: 

The minimum qualifications required for MCA program is

· Graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks for open category candidates and pass marks for reserved category.
· Mathematics as one of the subjects at least up to 10+2 level of study.

Selection Procedure: 

Candidates are selected for admission based on their performance in the entrance examination only.
